July 11, 2006 - Burlington County Library
Fairly productive visit, although a lot of my research was on their library edition of Ancestry.com, which I've picked over pretty good. In a seperate search, I did find some information on St. Stephen's Parish, which is the original source of my information on William (b. c1697) and Mary Hugg (b. c1698) and their son Patrick Hugg (b. 18 Dec 1729). On Ancestry.com, I did find reference to Hugg's in Delmarva in the 18th century...from southern points including Somerset County, Talbot County, Anne Arundel and Kent County, Maryland. The reference dates start in 1713, make them unlikely for direct ancestors, but interesting none the less. I also found a reference to a Benjamin P. Hugg, born in Delaware around 1827, but to a father born in Ireland. 2006-07-12 00:43:47 GMT
