One day he will love me

The glow I once had is gone from my face,
God, I'm so sad, take me from this horrible place!

So I can be his angel from above,
Guiding and protecting him with my unsurpassing love.

It kills me to see him sad,
Having to leave soon, looking back at the good times we had.

If I could have one wish,
I would wish for him to have happiness wherever he goes.

Even if he doesn't feel the way I do,
I will always love him, whatever our future paths show.

This poem is meant for my hero,
He has pride in his country and so much love to give.

I hope one day, he'll love me in return,
Until that day, I will wait for his true love to touch me.

In my dreams or someday in reality I hope,
To see our hearts together,
Together, forever to beat as one.
