| According to my dictionary, the word "Barrage" means, "an overwhelming, concentrated outpouring." There is no better word to describe this fiddling sensation from Calgary. Yes, Calgary, along with being an awesome band they are also from Canada. Barrage plays many typess of music; jazz, pop, classical, celtic, world, rock, swing, and country. Their variety makes them so popular. The band has: seven violinists, one guitar player, one bassist, one drummer, and one percussionist. The beauty of this band is that each musician is extreamely talented. What separates Barrage from most other violin groups is that they use excellent choreography. They not only just play, they also sing and dance at the same time. If you ever get a chance to see them, go. It is an awsome show! The lights, sound, choreography and, the music are just amazing! |
