No! It's an undersea lab! Must be Nemo's lair! As you peer around you to take it all in, the water around you suddenly turns thick with an oily red substance and the smell overpowers you. You swim quickly up and away and look back to see Nemo's men attacking the sperm whale that you had been following.
It's a horrible sight, but you are even more confused as the lights from their underwater lab reflect off of many more carcasses of other slaughtered sperm whales. The ocean floor around Nemo's lair is littered with them!
Leatherback looks like he is going to faint and Lionfish's eyes bulge as he gazes around him. What is going on here? Why is Nemo slaughtering sperm whales??
Something catches your eye near the undersea lab. There are cages there holding another sort of animal...hundreds of them!
Leatherback swipes at a tiny lanternfish and holds him over your Abeka 4 book as you flip to page 242-245. After reading those pages, you glance over p. 240 again.
The little lanternfish, tired of being treated like a flashlight, begs for his freedom. "I'll give you a clue if you'll only let me go!" he squeaks. You agree and he hands you a piece of paper. "Answer these questions and crack the code. Then let me go, agreed?" The two of you hover over the paper.
