| Here are some great books you should read: |
| Redwall by Brian Jacques is an interesting and well-written book that includes animals of all types and many funny charaters. It also has tricky riddles, a little mystery and is one of many in the series. The main story involves a young mouse that is clumsy but finds an important item and defends his home. Nine of ten stars. |
| The Mystery on Applebob Island by Anonymous. This story is about a young horse and her friends who get involved in a mystery that changes their lives. This story is not yet found in stores or libraries and will be printed in portions in our weekly newspaper. Nine out of ten stars. |
| Because of Winn Dixie by Kate DiCamill. This heart-warming story is a family favorite. The main charater is lonely and wants a dog. The dog that she finds is mischevious, but loveable. They have some fun adventures together and find that they need each other. Eight out of ten stars. |
| The Secret Of The Mansion by Kathryn Kenny. This book is charmingly written and is as funny as it is mysterious. The main character, Trixie Belden, and her friend try to solve a mystery by themselves and make a surprising discovery. Ten out of ten stars. |
| The Secret of the Clock by Karolyn Keene is the first book in the Nancy Drew series. This book is full of mystery and my personal favorite in the series. Nancy, with the help of her friends George and Bess, solves a hard-to-crack-case and make an interesting discovery in the back of an old clock. Eight of ten stars. |
