| I decided that everyone should know whats goin on at Square these days...... Word is out there that Square and Enix will merge in April of 2003. This should be very interesting because they are the best RPG makers of all time. The Square/Disney's Kingdom Hearts has sold over 3 million worldwide. The United States sold 1/3 of this. Thats 1 million! Problems occur between the merging of Square and Enix. Mr. Misashi Miyamoto, who owns 40% of Square, says that trading .81 of Enix to each stock from Square is unfair. He says that the merge might as well be canceled under the conditions of now. Problems are solved between the two companies. Enix will now be trading .85 to each stock from Square. It is still unknown if Mr. Miyamoto is happier with these terms. Squre and Enix will now be officially merging on April 1st and become Square Enix, Inc. The shareholders' meeting will be on February 13th. |
