| The Dark Aeons are extra bosses that only appear in the International and PAL versions of FFX. For the Dark Aeons to appear, you must complete everything in the game except fight Sin. Save your game just in case you lose because they are pretty tough. They also drop powerful weapons and armor. The fights will be challenging, all the Dark Aeons are immune to bad status effects. | Return to Besaid and a man will run out and say that you are traitors. He will then summon Dark Valefor. 800,000 All elemental damage is reduced by half. Weapon: First Strike, Fire Strike, Lightning Strike, Water Strike, Ice Strike, Break Damage Limit Armor: Auto-Regen, Break HP Limit, Ribbon (Try to get Break Damage Limit on the weapon and Ribbon on the armor. If you only recieve a 3 slotted item, reload and fight again) This battle is very easy. Just make sure Wakka or Tidus comes into the battle with full overdrive. Also if they have max strength, then it would be extra easy. Use Wakka's Attack Reels to inflict 12 hits on Dark Valefor. If you fail to do 12 hits, Tidus can use Blitz Ace for back up. If you forgot about the overdrives, just summon Yojimbo and perform Zanmato to end the battle. |

| Return to Sanubia Desert and go to were Home used to be. A lady and her child will be there. Watch her child and after the scene, go north where you will have to fight Dark Ifrit. 1,400,000 Fire: Absorbs; Lightning: Immune; Water: Immune; Ice: Reduced by 1/2; Holy: Normal Damage Weapon: Fire Strike, Break Damage Limit Armor: Fire Eater, Break HP Limit, Ribbon Try to get Break Damage Limit on the weapon and Ribbon on the armor. If you only receive a 3 slotted item, reload and fight again) Dark Ifrit will counter-attack everything throwned at him. If Wakka and Tidus has max strength and full overdrives, then consider yourself lucky. Use Wakka's Attack Reels and try to get a perfect 12. Followed up with Tidus's Blitz Ace will eliminate Dark Ifrit You can always summon Yojimbo and use Zanmato instead for an instant win. |
