| When you are on your way to Luca, you are given the chance to learn Tidus's Jecht Shot. Save before you try an attempt. Jecht will make remarks on the top left, top, top right,middle left, middle, middle right, bottom left, bottom, and bottom right. You must press the D-Pad to the direction the remarks are on and press X. You must successfully press X on 11 of the remarks. Congrats!! you've learn Jecht Shot. Once you start the tournament against the Luca Goers, make sure you save before the big game. Once you've started, press triangle and switch to manual A, then run to the back with Letty. If you don't have the ball at the start, then go after the Goers. When you're in the back, pass the ball from Letty to Botta, then from Botta to Tidus, then from Tidus to Letty, Letty to Botta, Botta to Tidus, Tidus to Letty, and just keep doing this until half time. Every pass will earn you 1 exp point for Blitzball. If Botta knows Venom Pass, use it like crazy, because a venom pass will earn you 2 exp instead of 1. Tidus, Letty and Botta will be at a very good level now., at leat 4 or 5. Set up Tidus's Jecht Shot and Botta's Venom pass, if not already. When the game starts, continue to do the same thing. and then just past it from Botta to Letty and Then to Jassu. Keep doing this until the clock reads 1:30. Then wander into the Goer's field but don't get too close, when you see tidus go up to the goal, pass it like a mug, and if Tidus has only 1 or 2 people on the way, then its good, use Jecht Shot and you will make your first goal. A cut-scene will appear soon and Wakka goes back on the field. Repeat what I said above replacing Tidus with Wakka. Wakka has a fairly larger EN stat than tidus. So give Wakka the ball and break through one person only, if Wakka has 2 people then you should think about what to do. Wakka shoots with Venom shot, earning him more experience, now you have a good chance of winning. Just get the ball and run around like crazy or let Wakka shoot again!!! You'll earn a stength sphere. If you play enough Blitz than you will be seeing Wakka's Overdrives come up as the 1st prize on tournaments and leagues. Playing Blitz also lets Wakka get his Celestial Weapon without a doubt from the Lady in the bar. Just make sure you play at least twice in an hour of game time because you'll be finding it fun. Tips for the Future of BB: While in Luca search for the guard in the center part in Luca,(the one with the shops that have the docks around it) his name is WEDGE. If you want a strong foward add him in for at least 10 games. If you're confident in your Aurochs then just sign him in for 1 game. Another stradegy is to play exhibitions to learn some useful tech skills. And keep a close eye on Larbeight from the Kilika Beasts and Nimrook from the Al Bhed Psychs. When Larbeight or Nimrook is free, just stop play BB or hope another team won't take them. Nimrook is the BEST goalie, and Larbeight is a very good foward. You can keep an eye on Basik Ronso as well but he is kind of slow. |
