When to Use
See below.....
Daigoro: Yojimbo will sic his dog on a single enemy causing a small damage. Kozuka: Yojimbo will throw several blades at the enemies causing moderate damage to all enemies. Wakizashi: Yojimbo pulls out his sword and the force of the action will hit either one or all enemies.(The more you pay Yojimbo, the better the chance he will hit all the targets rather than one.
Zanmato: Deals instant death to all enemies. This attack works on all enemies, excluding some bosses. Each enemy has a Zanmato Level that tells their resistance to the attack.
Auron must obtain his celestial weapon, Masamune, for Yojimbo to inflict more than 9,999 damage.
Yojimbo has a very high evasion rate, dodging alot of enemy attacks. Yojimbo's Zanmato overdrive is one of the most usefull ones in the whole game. But continually using Yojimbo may seriously lower your amount of gil. Yojimbo can defeat all of the Dark Aeons as well using his Zanmato overdrive attack.
Obtaining Yojimbo
While in the Calm Lands, head towards the exit that leads to an area with another exit to Mt. Gagazet. Instead of going into Mt. Gagazet, make a turn and head into the submerged land under the bridge. When there, a cut-scene will be played. After the cut scene, go into the cave. Continue going into the cave until you meet a fallen summoner that Lulu gaurded on her first pilgrimage. She will summon Yojimbo. When the fight starts, use magic to defeat Yojimbo. After defeating him, continue until you see a teleporter. Use it to go to the Chamber of the Fayth. When Yojimbo askes you the question, pick the option:To defeat the most powerful of enemies. He will ask you for 250,000 gil, instead give him 125,001. He will ask you for 225,000, istead give him 112,501. Just divide his offers by half and add one gil each time he proposes a price. When he asks for 205,000 gil, just give him something below 200,000 but not too low. If you have extra gil, give him 615,000 gil for him to like you and you also receive 2 x Teleport Spheres.
