Nov. 23, 1979 ABC - This made for TV movie actually does a good job telling the story of the Beatles from their first trip to Hamburg to the Ed Sullivan show. This movie does have some credibility to it as Pete Best served as a consultant. The actors even look like the Beatles, unlike other movies where even diehard Beatle fans couldn't tell which actor was suspose to be which Beatle. The music is faithfully re-created by a tribute band named Rain. You can find more about them here. This movie is definately a must have. |
