This disc is very unique to other Beach Boys live concerts. Brian rejoined the touring band but insisted on playing organ. Carl plays bass. For some strange reason, after the concert, the Beach Boys went to Hollywood and recorded a "live in the studio" version of the concert (possibly to be released overdubbed onto the concert to create a new live album). Ultimately, the project was scrapped and the only track ever released was The Letter on the short lived Rarities Lp in the states and on the Japanese cd of the same title (which is also out of print).
