Dedicated to Preserving our Rural Community
Hudson-Highlands Alliance
updated February, 2008
Our battle with Coyote Crossings, is at a standstill.
This parcel is located on approximately 2 miles
east on Kitten Trail & the corner of Coyote.
History of this site:
The developer has continuously opted legally and
contested the county for the rights to build 14 homes
on less than 19 acres, where as, the prior owner had
been approved for NO MORE than 5 homes.
We will never give up our fight to keep our rural area
as we have maintained it over the years.
Update: they have now posted a "for lease" sign, stating
it to be agricultural. Thus, they can now freely use our water
and deplete our resources, creating dry wells and
of course, the horrid sink holes. Why should they care !
They don't and never will live here.
Elizabeth Blair's, Pasco County State Attorney,
has offered her address for anyone to be on her
mailing list. IF you want to receive email
notification pertaining to Coyote Crossing,
send a note requesting
this to: [email protected] .
We need to continue our fight against
these developer's ! A new situation may arise.
372 acres between Denton/Kitten Trail has new owners.
Also, the Florida Hometown Democracy has gotten
a lot of media coverage as their fight continues thru the
state against big developers. Email them, get on
their list, see how they are fighting thru legislation.
