HUD Toastmasters learn by speaking and working with others in a supportive environment. We meet every Tuesday at noon for an hour, tops. At each meeting, members are given an opportunity to practice their speaking, leadership and communication skills. Weekly, we learn to become better listeners and how to give and receive constructive evaluations. Many members have shared that because of the skills learned in Toastmasters, they have gained self-confidence, grown professionally and were given opportunities that otherwise would not have happened.
