I joined in 1985 and got out in 1988 after getting married. I joined again in 1992, promoted to Sergeant in 1994, to Staff Sergeant in 1996, and selected for Sergeant First Class in 1999, and selected for Master Sergeant in 2004.. Retirment plans for June 2008 which is 3 + years. Want to Travel? |

This is Christopher and Alexander, my two Sons!! Yes another cam pic and the results depend on their mood. They are in the States with me.. Christopher was born in 1991, named after Christopher Columbus. Alexander was born in 1994, named after Alexander the Great. If a man can do nothing else, he can at least give his Sons a good name. |

This is a pic of me Alexander on the left, Christopher on the right, and our dog Pokee. This picture was taken before my assignment to Germany in January 2001. Alexander is 6 years old in the Picture and Christopher is 9. The dog? A Yorkshire Terrier who likes to play hide and seek. Really, there is no gap in my teeth..it just looks that way! |

I graduated from Rossville High School in 1984, which was located in Rossville Georgia. Hopefully most who find me here will find I look nothing as I did in High School. I was always the guy left out and looked over. A few years away from home does wonders to ones frame of mind and perception on the world. I entered the Regular Active Duty Army in October of 1985. To See the World? No! Service to Country? No! College Benefits? No! Eventually, things to do in a small town run out, so I went to Fort Jackson, SC for Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Schooling, from there on to Fort Hood, TX, then to Korea in 1987. After a break in service and deployed to Fort Campbell, KY with a Reserve unit in Chattanooga TN, I rejoined in 1992 and was STATIONED at Fort Leavenworth, KS. Yes, I said stationed, not confined. From there, I went again to Korea and was assigned to the 2d Infantry Division, then to Springfield, MA to work in a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). Following that, I was assigned to Fort Jackson, SC then to Vilseck Germany, 45 minutes from Nurnburg. Again, I ended up where I started, but with a few more stripes, and awaiting another. Never thought I would be selected for Master Sergeant, but hey! So, now I am awaiting assignment back Germany. So far the Army has done wonders for me and has provided well for my family, for those of you who remember me from school, my teeth are no longer crooked, for braces worked to straighten my smile. Thanks again to the U.S. Army. If you have nothing else to do, and nowhere else to go, the Army is a good start! I have 4 years of college and 3years until retirement. Hopefully a few more promotions will be online, til then, Im on my way back to Germany. If you've read this far, thanks. Mail me to say hello! |
