Off we go- June 22, 2003. The beginning of our 12,000 mile drive into 25 states for 2 months!
The kids are all settled into the back seats and surrounded by lots of duffle bags and camping equipment.
Texas was HUGE! We kept driving and driving and driving...at one point we stopped at this "cafe" in the middle of no where to use the restroom and stretch our legs.
We visited Guadalupe National Park and then set up camp in New Mexico very close to Carlsbad Caverns.
