(Plains, GA; St. Augustine, FL and Daytona Beach, FL - July 18)
We visited Plains, GA - home of President Jimmy Carter. It was such a great little town.
We visited the museum which is the old high school and then the house that Jimmy grew up in.
We then drove to St. Augustine, FL and set up our tent in the dark. = - )
The Whetstone Chocolate factory tour and store was a hit with the 4 Hubbard children.
We visited a very old fort in St. Augustine.
St. Augustine is the oldest european established city in North America and it also has the oldest wooden school house in America.
It was fun driving on Daytona Beach and then walking in the ocean, but the kids wanted to get to their favorite destination - ORLANDO, FLORIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
