Hubbard 0, Niles 3

 

Niles, OH—Hubbard and Niles both played a very nice game tonight.  Niles did a nice job capitalizing on a few miss cues Hubbard had in the first half.  At 0-0 Niles catches Hubbard on a trap that resulted in a one on one with Hubbard’s keeper Steve Roose, which Niles converted for the 1-0 lead.

 

Then 10 minutes later Hubbard was clearing the ball from just above the 18 and kicked the ball into a Niles player.  The Niles player got control of the ball and scored their second goal for a 2-0 halftime lead.  Niles created five shots in the half compared to Hubbard’s three.

 

In the second half Hubbard played a much better half.  Hubbard got some nice ball movement and created some nice looks at goal.  Hubbard created 10 shots in the second half and Niles created eight.  Niles picked up their third goal late in the second half for the 3-0 win.
