Hubbard 0, Ursuline 2

Hubbard, OH—Hubbard played undefeated Ursuline very strong as Hubbard was looking for their first win.  Hubbard got good ball possession on the Irish and created some very nice scoring chances in the game.  None was closer than Conor Mogg’s shot off the post just five minutes into the game.

The Eagles came up with three to four more nice scoring chances in the first half only to be denied by Ursuline’s keeper.  The game was 0-0 until Hubbard got caught running a trap.  Ursuline broke through the trap and scored off a one on one with Hubbard’s keeper Zach Zchmidt to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.

The second half Hubbard again maintained the momentum of game but was unable to score.  The game was still 1-0 Usuline until Ursuline’s Kevin Patrick cleaned up a ball off a deflection on a direct kick to put Ursuline up 2-0 with 1:57 left in the game.

Hubbard out shot Ursuline 14-11
