Hubbard 1, Liberty 4

Hubbard, OH- Hubbard and Liberty battled in non-league action Tuesday night.  Hubbard struck first when Gabe Hitchcock scored on a very nice run just 10 minutes into the game.

Hubbard held the 1-0 until midway through the first half when Hubbard was called for a foul in the penalty box.  Liberty converted the penalty kick and tied the game at 1-1.

Liberty scored another goal before half to take a 2-1 lead.  In the second half still down 2-1 Hubbard’s Tim Kemner broke through Liberty’s defense and ripped a shot off the crossbar to tie the game.  The ball was inches of crossing the line for a goal.  This was Hubbard’s best scoring chance in the second half.

Liberty started controlling the most of the second half with their ball movement and netted two more goals on the Eagles.
