Hubbard 1, Poland 11

Hubbard, OH- Hubbard opened its 2008 season against a very strong Poland team.  Poland dominated the flow of the game with their speed and ball movement.  Hubbard tried to trap pretty aggressive but Poland was able to attack the trap very well.

Poland has some excellent ball handlers that were able to break down the Hubbard defense off the dribble and set their teammates up very well causing all kinds of problems for the Eagles.  Poland netted 10 goals in the first half. 

In the second half Hubbard’s Gabe Hitchcock scored Hubbard’s first goal of the season.  Hubbard played very hard and positive in the second half despite being down by 10 goals.  All the players are commended for continuing to fight and play hard until the game was over.
