R.J. Lee hat tricks Newton Falls as Hubbard shines on Senior Night 4-0

Hubbard, OH—Congratulations to Hubbard’s Seniors Alex Chick, Galen Hayek, Eric Pavia, Miles Williams, R.J. Lee, Jeremy Frazzini, John Madeline and Brandon Pagnatta on a great season.  All of you have been very important to the success of this team and thanks for making this season one of the best seasons in Hubbard’s 21 year history.

 

Hubbard jumped on Newton Falls early in the game when Philipp tho Pesch hooked up with R.J. Lee to put Hubbard up 1-0.  Shortly after that Alex Chick set up R.J. Lee for his second goal and a 2-0 lead.  10 minutes later Alex Chick picked up his second assist as he found Conor Mogg who scored at point blank range for his second career goal to put Hubbard up 3-0.

 

The Eagles were not finished yet as they continued to control the game and press the Newton Falls defense.  Just 8:00 before the half Alex Chick picked up his third assist and R.J. Lee picked up his third goal when they connected for a second time tonight to give Hubbard a commanding 4-0 halftime lead.

 

Having the game well in hand Hubbard did what they needed to do the rest of the way.  Play out the game and kept everyone healthy for the big game against Lakeview on Tuesday, October 9 in a winner take all championship game.

 

Hubbard 10-3-2 (7-0-2) in the league will take on Lakeview 8-1 in the league for the Title this Tuesday, October 9
