Hubbard blanks Warren Harding 4-0

September 20, 2007

Hubbard, OH—Hubbard played an excellent game tonight as they shut out Warren Harding.  The Eagles only scored four goals but created 42 shots at goal and gave up two shots.  Congratulations to the entire team on a very well played game.  Also, congratulations to Hubbard’s Conor Mogg who netted his first career varsity goal in the first half.

R.J. Lee put Hubbard up 1-0 off an assist by Alex Chick.  Conor Mogg minutes later put Hubbard up 2-0 on an unassisted goal.  Chick hooked up again with R.J. Lee as R.J. scored his second goal on the night and Chick picked up his second assist for the 3-0 lead.  It was Chick and Lee again for the combination goal.  This time Lee found Chick setting about 12 yards off the goalie.  Alex very calmly placed the ball like a pass shot on the ground to the right corner of the net for the 4-0 and win for the Eagles.

Hubbard 7-2-1 has a very important Tac match-up against Champion Saturday night at Hubbard.
