Hubbard 1, Poland 2

Hubbard, OH—Hubbard and Poland played very entertaining game Monday night.  Poland netted two goals in the first half to take a 2-0 into half time.  Poland was getting most of the ball possession in the first half.  Hubbard didn’t create many scoring chances in the first half and was having to defend a lot in the half.

Hubbard made a few personnel changes that helped the team in the second half.  Hubbard got more ball possession and played a pretty solid second half.  Miles Williams and R.J. Lee hooked up just minutes in the second half.  Miles sent a nice ball through to R.J. Lee who scored a very nice goal at the 38:30 mark of the second half to cut the lead to 2-1 Poland.

From that point on the game was pretty evenly played.  Hubbard and Poland both had some nice build ups through the midfield.  Hubbard’s defense played a very good second half for the Eagles.  The Eagles fought to the end and have nothing to hang their heads about in this contest.

Hubbard 2-2-1 will host Labrae on Tues. Sept. 11
