Hubbard 8, Labrae 1

 

Hubbard, OH—The Hubbard Eagles kicked off their 2006 season with an 8-1 victory over Labrae.  Hubbard enters the season with a very inexperienced team at the varsity level.  Hubbard’s fielding seven to eight position with very little experience but are looking up to the task of challenging any team on their schedule.

 

Alex Chick scored the first goal of the season off an assist by Gustavo Menezes to put Hubbard up 1-0.  Shortly after the score Alex Chick gets tripped in the penalty box and converts a penalty kick to go up 2-0.  R.J. Lee scores his goal of the season off an assist by Jeremy Frazzini to take a 3-0 halftime lead.

 

Paul Gref scores off an assist by Alex Chick to go up 4-0.  R.J. Lee netted his second goal of the night off an assist by Alex Chick to go up 5-0.  Labrae got on the board to cut the lead to 5-1.

 

R.J. Lee nets two more one assisted by Gustavo Menezes and the second assisted by Paul Gref to put Hubbard up 7-1 and Tom Belin scores his first goal of the season unassisted to give Hubbard the 8-1 win.
