Hubbard 0, West Branch 2

Beloit, OH— Hubbard played West Branch very close on the field and came up short against a very stingy defense.  The warriors have been playing very solid defense allowing only three goals in the last 12 games.

Hubbard played a very good first half and created their better scoring opportunities in the first half.  The good looks at goal were there but we couldn’t find the back of the net.

The ball movement wasn’t as good in the second half and the Eagles found themselves defending more than they wanted.  Because of this our chances to score were limited to four shots at goal in the second half.

The defense played pretty good defense.  But they didn’t contribute to any kind of offensive ball movement.

We didn’t use the wing mid fielders at all in the second half. We were way to direct with our attaching in the second half.

Hubbard travels to Poland on Tuesday, Oct. 4

JV starts at 5

V starts at 7
