Hubbard 2, Liberty 0

 

Hubbard, OH—Hubbard played another solid game tonight as they notched their second shut out of the season.  A.J. Pulice got Hubbard on the board midway through the first half off a pass from Alex Chick.  A.J. took Liberty sweeper on down the right side and got enough separation to score a very nice goal to the far post giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead.

 

The game went back in forth and either team scored in the first half.  The second half was an intense half and well played for the Eagles.  A.J. Pulice again broke through the Liberty defense and scored a great left footed shot far post and on the ground to give Hubbard a 2-0 lead. The Eagles defense held off Liberty’s push late in the second half to secure the win for the Eagles.
