Hubbard 1, Lakeview 3

 

Hubbard, OH—Hubbard didn’t have enough tonight to topple undefeated Lakeview.  Lakeview took control of the game with their ball pressure and winning of 50/50 balls.  Hubbard started finding a little momentum midway through the first half and started pressing the Lakeview defense.

 

At the 28:00 Rafael Lima brought Hubbard within a goal off a direct kick that landed in the upper right corner of the net. A.J. Pulice had a goal called back on an offside call that would of tie up the contest.

 

One minute into the second half Lakeview scores the important third goal as three Hubbard’s defenders all got beat one on one and the Lakeview player set up himself for an open netter on the Hubbard Keeper.

 

Both teams played well and should put on another nice show on October 8^th at Lakeview. Lakeview takes a commanding lead in the Tac-8 and remains undefeated at 8-0

 

On a positive note Hubbard held their annual youth night and brought out a huge crowd to witness the contest.  It looked to be a crowd between 400 to 500 spectators.
