Hubbard 1, Mooney 4

Struthers, OH-- Hubbard played the #1 ranked team in Ohio Mooney very well. Mooney scored six minutes into the game to take an early 1-0 lead.

Hubbard's Anthony Tombo tied the game at 1-1 ten minutes later. Mooney connected again off another head-in to take a 2-1 lead into half time.

Mooney picked up their third goal off a direct kick to take a 3-1 lead and closed out the scoring with their third head-in of the game for the 4-1 win.

Hubbard's defense played Mooney's high scoring offense in check for most of the night. Great defensive effort from Billy Williams, Joe Wylie, Robbie Sullivan, and Adam Notvoty, who was responsible for marking Kiki Willis.

Hubbard 5-10 plays their last regular season game at home against Newton Falls

The JV beat Ursuline 5-4 Monday night and closed out their season with a 9-2-4 record.

Congratulation to Coach Barr and the entire JV team on a great season.
