Hubbard, Oh- Champion scored first midway through the first half on a ball that hit the crossbar and came to the feet of a Champion player who knocked the ball in for the 1-0 lead.

Hubbard's A.J. Pulice tied the game at 1-1 on an assist from Anthony Tombo. The game went back in forth; then Champion scored their second goal off a throw in to go up 2-1. In the remaining minutes of the game, Hubbard was unable to clear the ball out of their penalty area resulting in Champion's final goal.

Champion out shot Hubbard 12-7 in the contest. Hubbard could not sustain any kind of ball movement. The ball movement was very sporadic at best and Hubbard got caught holding onto the ball way, way too much.
