Hubbard, OH-- Eagles dominates Salem and loses 0-2.

Hubbard plays their best game of the season and suffers their second lose. Hubbard fell behind 0-2 in the first ten minutes of the game on a couple of defensive breakdowns. From that point on it was all Hubbard the rest of the contest. Hubbard ended the first half with an 8-6 shot advantage over Salem. Out of those eight shots for the eagles two found the post which obvious didn't find the back of the net.

In the second half Hubbard dominates the entire second half, again hitting the post twice more. The eagles out shot Salem in the second half 20-2, but again failed to find the back of the net.

Congratulations to the entire defense for the adjustment they made after the second goal. The Eagles went to a little different set-up, which they only rehearsed this new set up on paper for about five minutes. But once the switch was made they played the new set great with absolutely no time to prepare for the switch.

It was tough for the Eagles to walk of the field with a loss, but they sure did gain a lot of confidence with this loss.

Maybe we can go up to Champion on Sept. 2 and give them their first loss. If Hubbard continues to play like they did tonight, a win could be possible.
