HUBBARD, OH-- Hubbard advances on penalty kicks. Chris Styn connects on a penalty kick to put Hubbard up 1-0. West Branch pounces back with 10 minutes left in the first half to tie the game 1-1. The score remained 1-1 at half time.
Chris Styn puts Hubbard back on top 2-1 off another penalty kick. The keeper made the initial save, but Styn was there to knock the rebound in for his second goal.
West Branch ties the game 2-2 at the 25:00 mark. The game went back and worth with Hubbard starting to get some very nice looks at goal. Justin Daly beats two defenders to create a very nice scoring chance, but the shot was right at the keeper. Tom Angelo turned on a ball with his left foot that beat the keeper but hit the crossbar.
Hubbard played a very nice second half and overtime. We created the better scoring chances. This game was a battle for the Eagles who hung in there to get the win.
The first time Hubbard beat West Branch 5-2. West Branch had two senior starters that did not play in that game. These two guys made a big difference in the game tonight. The two players missing from last game were a defender and a striker that played extremely well for West Branch.
After a 2-2 tie the game had to be settled on penalty kicks. Keeper Mike Mogg made two outstanding stops to help the Eagles in a big way finish off West Branch.

Chris Styn, Justin Daly, Anthony Tombo, and Tom Angelo who got the game-winning penalty kick scores for the Eagles.
That was the Sectional Final and a hard fought win for the Eagles.
