Hubbard rallies in second half

Justin Daly sets career scoring record

Salem, OH--Justin Daly and Chris Styn Hat tricks the Quakers. Hubbard overcame a 2-1 half time deficit to roll on to their second 6-2 victory. Tom Angelo hooked up with Justin Daly at the 23:00 of the first half to go up 1-0.

Then in a seven minute span, Salem takes the lead going into half time. Hubbard came out tonight kind of sluggish. We just didn't have any movement off the ball, missed passes, and lack of communication a few times. We just looked flat!

Then in the second half we jumped all over them. Chris Styn evened up the game 2-2 just two minutes into the second half on an assist from Tom Angelo. Then Justin Daly scored his second goal six minutes later to go up 3-2 on an assist by Josh Petrusko. Chris Styn scores his second goal on an assist by Anthony Tombo to go up 4-2. Seconds later, Justin Daly scores his third goal unassisted and becomes the all time leading scorer at Hubbard with 56 goals and counting, this puts Hubbard up 5-2. Then Chris Styn finishes off the Quakers with his third goal to put Hubbard up 6-2 and that ends the nightmare with the Salem Quakers.

The second half was a great half! Hubbard played a flawless second half. Great ball movement, great movement off the ball, and great ball possession.

Congratulations to the entire team on a great comeback and a nice win.

Hubbard (2-0) will play their first home game against Champion on Tuesday, Sept. 3

This should be a very good Tac-8 opener for the Eagles
