Justin Daly's Hat Trick Gives Him the All Time Single Season Scoring Record with 30 Goals
Hubbard 3, Badger 1
Hubbard, OH-- Justin Daly's three goals moved him past Adam Musser who tallied 29 goals in 1998. Congratulations goes out to the entire team for another well played game.
Hubbard opened up the game with all kind of ball possession. We did an excellent job in knocking the ball around and we got everyone involved in the game early.
Hubbard took a 2-0 led into half time, but just 5 minutes into the second half Badger scores on a set play to make the score 2-1 Hubbard. The ball got over the wall and one of their players ran on the ball and put a nice header in the back of the net.
This gave the Braves a little life. Hubbard quickly got control of the ball and started slowly taking the wind back out of Badger. At the 20:00 mark Daly hit for his third goal on a counter and Justin did a very nice job on taking on the Badger defender to get off the shot. The first shot got away from the Keeper and the second did to, but this time it landed in the back of the net and that was No. 30. (good night Badger)
Hubbard can clinch an out right Tac-8 Crown with a win over Newton Falls this Thursday, at Newton Falls, game time 4 p.m. If the Eagles win this will be the first Tac-8 Championship in the school's history.
Hubbard improves to 11-0-2 overall, Tac-8 record 5-0-1
