Hubbard defeats Badger 3-2

Kinsman, OH--Chris Styn led the way with two goals. The first came on an assist by Anthony Palestro at the 16:00 to put Hubbard up 1-0. Then one minute later Justin Daly scores on an unassisted goal to put Hubbard up 2-0.

Badger scores two goals within eight minutes to even up the score. Hubbard had two miss clears that led to both goals. Shots at half time were Hubbard 16, Badger 14.

Hubbard made a key adjustment at half time that totally shut down Badger the entire second half. Hubbard ran a very high defensive line in the second half. We took all their space away and they had no answers in return.

Badger only got off three shots in the second half, compared to there 14 in the first half. Hubbard did a very nice job holding possession in the second half, getting shots off, and kept Badger back on their heals with the defensive adjustment.
