Hubbard, Oh—Hubbard could not
slow down Beaver Local on senior night.
Hubbard seniors recognized were: Conor Mogg, Brandon Hines, Eddie
Zitnik, Martin Pederson, Tyler William, Cole Crawford and manager Mark Werner.
Beaver Local stays undefeated
on the year and will square off against Lakeview next Thursday for the league
Championship. Beaver Local converts a
penalty kick to take a 1-0 lead; then pick up two more goals on the Eagles to
take a 3-0 halftime lead.
Hubbard played a very aggressive
defensive second half trying to limit the space and amount of time with the
ball. The tactic was pretty successful
as it kept Beaver Local a little off balance in the second half. Because of the very aggressive defense,
Hubbard’s defense was vulnerable to counter attacks and is what Beaver Local
used to score their second half goals.
