Hubbard 2, Warren Harding 0

Hubbard, Oh—Hubbard’s Conor Mogg and Tim Kemner netted a goal each and the defense held on for another solid defensive effort at home.  The 2-0 win came on Hubbard’s biggest youth night since 1998.

Conor Mogg gave the Eagles the 1-0 lead when Cole Crawford played a ball through to Conor who beat the left defensive back and slip the ball past the Keeper near post on a very nice goal.

Midway through the first half Sterling Morris hooked up with Tim Kemer for the second goal.  Tim collected the ball from Sterling on a nice through pass and out run the Raider defenders as he netted his second goal of the year and gave the Eagles an all important 2-0 lead.

Hubbard did not score anymore but set up some very nice scoring chances in the second half.  Kemner and Pedaline both had some very nice scoring chances and Kemner had a goal called back on him at the 18:00 mark of the second half.  Brandon Hines, Jack Trickett, Geordan Cover, and Josh Kerr were all credited with an outstanding defensive game.

Coach Lehman would like to thank all the parents for attending the game and making this year’s youth night the biggest ever.  Thank you!
