Not only do we members of the Speech-Language-Hearing program have a chapter of NSSLHA all to ourselves, but also have our very own honor society...Sigma Pi.To apply, one must have a major or a minor in the SLHS and have already taken 12 semester hours ("credits") of speech classes. With all of that squared away, now we face the G.P.A. issue. One needs to have a least a 3.0 overall with a 3.3 in the SLHS.
The applications, which are found in the department office, must be completely filled out, with your advisor's signature, and placed in the Sigma Mailbox - along with an official copy of your transcript. Just pop over to the friendly people in Memorial Hall, and have them send one over to Davison Hall C/O Sigma Pi. ;-)
The deadline for Spring applications is APRIL 4th! No applications will be accepted after that time, so get moving, people!
