Since not many people recognize Ja Rule as a good rapper anymore, I felt I had to make this page, to remind everyone of Ja Rule.  Ja Rule is leaving Murder Inc Records, and all because of some dumb diss tracking issue by 50 Cent & Eminem.  Ja Rule isn't being recognized as a rapper anymore.  It seems like no one cares about his music.  Because he comes out with one okay album, suddenly all his music is bad?
I'd like to start with Venni Vetti Vecci, He Came, He Saw, He Conquered.
I sure didn't know Ja Rule till Rule 3:36.  Venni Vetti Vecci was a great is great!  The album showed pain, gangster, love, and everything else.  From all the Murder Inc albums, this album is the most murderous.  Even more murderous than Irv Gotti Presents the Murderers.
The album, Rule 3:36 is when Ja Rule was really starting to hit the charts, with two good hits, Between Me and You featuring Christina Milain & Put it On Me featuring Vita and the remix with Lil Mo.  Fuck You with 0-1 & Vita also was another Ja Rule hit.  This was the time Ja Rule was in the Fast and Furious, and his fame was sky rocketing.  Everyone was feeling Ja Rule's heat.
Yet, not everyone knew about Ja Rule/ Murder Inc Records. Jennifer Lopez took care of that.  When I'm Real Murder Remix came out, everyone was obsessed with the song.  It was played all the time.  No one can say they hated this song.  Now, it seemed as if Ja Rule was coming out with a hit every week.  When Pain is Love came out, for the time of this album, Ja Rule had the hits,

I'm Real Murder Remix
Ain't it Funny Murder Remix
Livin It Up
Always on Time
Rainy Days
Down Ass Bitch

Then, there  was the Ashanti hit making too.  Murder Inc was busy, and becoming famous.  Although not everyone loved Ashanti, Ja Rule was great.  His music was out there.
Yet, getting away from the subject, if Vita's album would have came out at this time, none of this 50 Cent/ Eminem stuff would fuck Murder Inc up.  Then maybe other albums would have came out instead of Irv Gotti albums.
Okay, the summer of Murder Inc in 2002 was mostly Ashanti's, yet there was a great hit.  Down 4 U.  Again, Ja Rule was rapping and singing another Murder Inc, banger. Yet many say this was the sign of Ja Rule going bad.  Personally, I didn't think so.  Yet, this is when Murder Inc was changed.  Who wants to see MURDER INC RECORDS in pink or blue?  You answer that for you self.
Fall 2002, Ja Rule came out with The Last Temptation. The album looks really cool, but the album shouldn't have been released.  There is only 13 tracks on it anway.  The album wouldn't have been any problem, if there were more and better tracks.  Then maybe 50 Cent/ Eminem wouldn't be so hard to go up against.
Also, by now, Ja Rule seemd to be on every album that you had.  Come on, he is featured on albums by Memphis Bleek, Jerzee Monet, Fabolous, Ashanti, Ll Cool J, Jennifer Lopez, So Plush, Method Man & Redman, and many more.  Even though some were along time ago, everyone is getting sick or Ja Rule.  Irv Gotti shouldn't have released the album.  Irv Gotti made some dumb moves, and this is when Ja Rule's heat turned cold.
My point is that I won't let the Rule die.  I still will always remember the great times of Ja Rule.  No matter how bad he is now, I won't forget the rule.
