Naming your pages.

All browsers look for the "index.htm" or "index.html" page first in any given directory if you have not told it to go to a specifically named page in the domain you are jumping to, so all main (first) pages in any given website should be named "index.html". Any other pages you decide to create can be named anything you want to name them as long as they have an .htm or html extention (.htm is a file extention used by people who have Windows 3.x operating system on their computer and are restricted by the "8 character name plus 3 character extension" file naming convention when creating their pages).
