The family of Barbara J. Jacobson would like to thank all of our family and friends for all of the support, prayers, cards, plants and food brought to the nursing home and to Grandpa Smith’s during her last weeks and after her death.

        Special thanks to her family for all their love and support, to Marinuka Manor for their excellent care, to Fathers Joseph, O’Hara and Wagner for presiding at the funeral and Deacon Mike; to Dave Mahlum, Linda Frederick and Lucy Dunn for the beautiful music; the ladies of St. Mary’s for the lunch and to Jeff and Jay of Zwickey’s Funeral Home for their help.

        We would also like to thank all our employers and co-workers for their kindness and support and to the doctors and the Oncology Dept. staff at Franciscan Skemp and the hospice nurse for their care and support.

        Barb was touched by all who thought of her and we are overwhelmed by the response we have received. Though her passing leaves a hole in our lives, we know she is in the arms of God and is enjoying her just reward for a life devoted to family, church and service to others.
