| ~ About Me ~
Currently, I am a 32 year old Office Manager from Wisconsin. I am not married and I have no children yet but I hope to when I meet the right person to share my life with. My interests include: music, theater, reading, poetry, singing, and movies. I am a college graduate of a small, private, Catholic University called Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI. I graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Science degree with an emphasis in both education and psychology. I went from education to psychology to this. This degree allowed me to combine those areas in the way I wanted and I'm happy with my choice even if it wasn't my initial intention. :o)     I work at the local newspaper office with a variety of office tasks as well as tasks related to advertising and layout. I once considered going into Journalism so this is kind of a full circle move for me though I hadn't thought about it that way when I applied. I am officially the Office Manager and its mostly computer related tasks so its right up my alley. Our newspaper also does some printing and the more I work here, the more learning opportunities there are which I really enjoy as I don't like to be bored. I truly enjoy both the work and the people here.   The poetry that I write is a reflection of my efforts to help people set aside the assumptions that they make about other people and promote understanding and acceptance. I firmly believe that people everywhere are very similiar inside. We all have similiar hopes and dreams as well as similiar problems and fears. I hope that people can realize that so that they will understand and accept people that seem very different from them on the outside. I also strive to show that we should rejoice in the differences that we do have. But, in order to do any of this, we must first understand people for who they truly are. And that requires setting aside the assumptions that we make. I know it sounds corny but I like people and I want to understand them for who they are and help others understand them too.     The link below will take you to the paper I work for and there is a link there that tells a little about the town I live in and some of the events and scenery available here. Once you read about our picturesque little town, you might be tempted to visit! Galesville is a nice place to visit and an even better place to live.
