History of the Robert Miller
Built by Evans Deakin Ship Yard at Brisbane QLD Australia, for Robert William Miller Shipping Pty Ltd.  He was launched on the 29th September, 1973 and was used extensively to carry oil around Australia and overseas, and was based at Sydney.  It was named after Robert Miller Jr.
During the 1974 flood which hit Brisbane, causing millions of dollars damage to the city, the Robert Miller broke lose from its moorings at Kangaroo Point and blocked the Brisbane River causing major problems.  After much pushing and pulling by  the tug boats it was redocked and a disaster was averted.
As of the 12/2000 He was still in service.
