Amanda Miller
The History of Amanda Miller.
Built in Whyalla, South Australia.  Constructed for Robert Miller Shipping Pty Ltd and named after his daughter.  Amanda was launched in 1971, she was a  bulk oil carrier, and was based in Sydney.  She had the smaller carrying capacity of the two ships.  Like the Robert Miller she carried oil around Australia and overseas.

During construction a huge fire broke out, starting at the rear of the ship and caused a massive amount of damage and delayed launch for several months.
Research was very difficult to get hold off, as at the time that I started to construct the model of Amanda, she had already gone to the scrap yards.
