| HSV ROADRUNNER MEETING
MONDAY, APRIL 6, 2009, 6:00 pm PONCE DE LEON CENTER WELCOME: Mary Seitz, President, welcomed everyone to the meeting. INVOCATION: Heinrich Eiler gave the invocation. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Mary asked that Naomi Creasey be notified if any Roadrunner is ill. Joyce Bjerke reported that Dee Swanson died in Iowa recently. BUSINESS MEETING AND COMMITTEE REPORTS SECRETARY�S REPORT: Minutes from the previous meeting are now posted on the website: http://www.geocities.com/hsvroadrunner. Corrections or additions can be directed to the Club�s secretary. TREASURERS REPORT: Ruth Harbaugh reported that the treasury had a bank balance of 2808.11. DINNER ATTENDANCE: Herb Dehart reported that 100 people made reservations and 99 attended the dinner. MEMBERSHIP: Walter Free reported that we now have 96 paid members. Directories are still available. New members were introduced: Carl and Anna Suttor, Charlie Osborne, John and Kathleen Estes and Ed and Joanne Thielbar. Roger and Ann Shroyer joined tonight. Guests attending were Dick and Laurel Gunderson and Evan Lewis, son of Howard Lewis, who is leaving for Okinawa May 1. PROGRAMS: Susan Tigert, Park Interpreter from Lake Ouachita State Park, presented a program on �geocaching,� treasure hunting using a GPS system. For more information, go to www.geocaching.com. TRIP REPORTS: David Montgomery announced that each rig needs to make an individual reservation at Petit Jean State Park for the May meeting. He collected $10 per rig for a Sunday night wagonmaster�s dinner. This is in addition to the Monday night meeting. Other wagonmasters gave brief updates on each trip. OLD BUSINESS: none NEW BUSINESS: Carl Rader (previous owner of Motorhome Service Co) announced there is a new owner taking over the business. He introduced Dusty Wells, who will do general automotive and motorhome service at Huddleston�s. His cell number is 501-701-0975. Keith Johnson, who bought Huddleston�s last year, announced new lower rates for motorhome storage. The next meeting will be Monday, May 4, 2009 at Petit Jean State Park.
