- 2008....December...The Arizona Historical Society has voted to certify the BCHS.
- 2008....November 15.
- 2008....The BCHS was the winning bidder and purchased the Old Canon School building for $200.
- 4-18-07.... Kay Beckman presented a check to Bob Nilles
for $2,122.50 on April 18, 2007.
These monies were raised from a 50/50 raffle by the High Desert Park Helpers for
BCHS.
- 4-15-07.... Bob Pielage and Greg Watts have finished a detailed GPS mapping showing the
Stagecoach route, from Gillette to Black Canyon Station, for the first time. This
