Hello and welcome to the official website of the Linton and District Historical Society. The rural township of Linton was gazetted in 1860, and is located on the Glenelg Highway 168 km west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Aims of the Society

- To foster historical interests and disseminate knowledge of the district
- To undertake and encourage historical research
- To collect items of historical interest
- To promote the preservation of items of historical interest
- To raise funds for the fulfilment of the above
