Dear Grand fellow members, Congratulations! You have reached the meaningful milestone of 30th year in Toastmasters organization. 30 years ago, the fourth Toastmasters Club -- Grand TMC in Taiwan was charetred. On the other hand, Grand (since 1975) is the first community club right after the three regional clubs -- Taipei (since 1958), Tainan (since 1960), Kaohsiung (since 1963) were formed. And Grand is also the club with longest history currently in Division C. There is a saying which goes "Wisdom comes with age". We have witnessed a good model from Grand TMC. For years, countless people and members have benefited from Grand TMC through the well proven program provided by Toastmasters International. To date, in my impression, it's not just for the purpose to enhance communication and leadership skills Grand has also successfully attained so many achievements for fellow Toastmasters to learn especially in terms of "Mutually supportive", "Teamwork", "Dedicate to Excellence", "Active participation"..., etc. Indeed, I am proud Grand is one of the clubs in our Division. A quality club requires quality members who is one of the key factors leading a club to success. Under the devotion of past club leaders, Grand has now turned into a substantial and strong one among all clubs in our Division and District. With the excellent leadership from incumbent president -- Helen Lin along with dedicated members such as Annie Chou, Arlene Chen, Billy Chen, Cathy Hung, Erick Suen, Grace Lu, Sherry Li, Victor Lee..., etc., I truly believe Grand will have a most fruitful year this term than ever.
