| Fire, getting frustrated fouled Silky, Matt took the kick, Adam and Jacob attempted to move in to scoring position but with no luck. A well placed cross shot by Silky bounced off of the goalie and Jacob finished the goal � it was called back with a poor offsides call. The Hammers were not discouraged by the call and Antonio moved a ball forward to Silky again, Silky with another well placed cross, found Adam. Adam moving around Fire defenders took a nice shot..GOAL! 3-0 Hammers. More combinations between Merc, Brendan, Adam, Silky, Jacob and Dimitri have the Hammers taking shots on goal, one of which is sent out of bounds by Fire. Adam takes a solid corner kick that is brought down by Silky settling with his chest, back to Adam, to Jacob and GOAL! 4-0 Hammers. We are down to the last few minutes and the Hammers are moving with speed and agility. So excited to score, they took two more offsides calls, but again were not discouraged. Dimitri, playing very well, effortlessly moved the ball through the Fire defense to set up another Hammers shot, missed. The end of the game had the Hammers shutting out CDSA Fire. A strong effort was displayed by every player and a true Team effort won the day. A well deserved win! | ||||||||
