| Ng Kian Peng passed away suddenly on 19th August 2003 of a road accident in Lagos Negeria, where he'd been working for the past 2+ years. Apparently, their car (Volvo) was hit by an oncoming car (understand was involved in an accident then) which came into their lane, while they were on the way home. All 3 passengers in his car perished; himself, a Hong Konger and a local Negerian. The driver survived with multiple injuries. 2 persons from the oncoming car also perished in this accident. It took over 2 weeks of diplomatic wranggling, etc. before his body could be repatriated back to his home in Kajang where the funeral and services could finally take place and he was finally laid to rest. We lost a very dear and good friend. Rest in peace, dear friend. |
