Since September 11, 2001, the lives of Americans have been changed.

This Post 9/11 era has us reaching out to each other for support.

My husband along with thousands of other men and women within the 1st Cavalry, have been delployed to Iraq to relieve the 4th ID.  Their deployment will last 12-15 months.

As you can see in the picture above, there is not much made available in the PX (post exchange).  From what I understand only $2000 of supplies can be stocked at one time.  This does not allow for many items or for a vast selection.

From the sale of these magnets, I am wanting to be able to not only purchase the extra items that are needed, but also cover the shipping charges for sending those items over there.  As summer temps rise to over 110 F, our guys are trying to adjust as best they can.  The HUMVEES that they use on a daily basis are NOT equipped with A/C.  As most of you know, sitting in your car on a hot summer day in July with NO air conditioning is not only unbearable but ILLEGAL!!! So why should we put our troops through the same dangers.  So far we have been able to send 200+ Misty Mate water misting canisters to our troops for comfort and are trying to send more.  These misting devices will lower the temperature by almost 30 degrees for several minutes......this gives a much needed moment of comfort to our troops.
We are also working with COLEMAN, the maker of coolers and other camping equipment, to supply our guys with re-freezable blue ice packs.  This is a more logical means of cooling items in the ice chests than to use ice, since ice is harder to come by in the desert.  COLEMAN has given our FRG a great deal on the re-freezable ice packs and YOU are making it possible for us to supply our troops with as many as we can get!!!

You can be assured that your donation will be used in good faith for the support of our solidiers and thier families.

Thank you for your support!!
The troops are overjoyed at the outpouring you are showing !
